OUR
PROCESS
Listening
Every year, leaders meet with others from their congregation to discuss community problems. Through these conversations, common areas of concern emerge. Leaders then vote to determine a few major priorities to focus on.
Research
Leaders form research committees to determine viable solutions that will resolve the problems long-term. as well as the public officials in their community who have the authority to implement those solutions.
Action
PACT organizes and hosts public meetings to mobilize community leaders and rally the community members. Members from all of the congregations involved (usually thousands of supporters) gather to negotiate solutions with public officials in attendance.
Rallies
Through PACT rallies, community members are directly involved in the process of change, as their voices are heard and their guided towards the next steps on action
Nehemiah Action
Through the annual Nehemiah Action Assembly, PACT gathers Miami-Dade county officials and the community members. We inform them on the issues affecting the community and mobilize for change. Pushing public officials to hear the cries of the community members.
