National DART Workshops
Intro to Congregation-Based Community Organizing (DART 5-day workshop)
This five day residential workshop is held twice annually and brings together leaders from all 20 DART organizations across six states. PACT usually sends eight to twelve leaders each year and covers all costs for leaders selected to attend. This workshop gives an overview of community organizing theory, skills and technique and gives delegates an opportunity to try out all of the new skills they learn during extensive role playing sessions.
Advanced Leaders Training Institute (DART 2-3 day workshop)
Advanced DART training builds on skills learned through experience in the organization and through the introductory five-day workshop. Aimed at more experienced leaders, this workshop frequently also has a specific focus, for example building three level networks or running successful support drives.
Dart Clergy Conference
Held annually in Florida during the first week of February , DART’s Clergy Conference is an excellent opportunity for clergy committed to social justice to network and hear from nationally renowned speakers. The conference also gives clergy the opportunity to share sample justice sermons, bible study ideas and learn about justice issue updates.
